You can copy and paste up to 10% of any book youâre reading, helping you save time and transfer the information you need, where you need it! đ
You can also copy the notes youâve added to books directly from your notes panel in the eReader.
Here's how to copy and paste text from a book in 3 easy steps:
1. Simply highlight the text that youâd like to copy. A panel will appear, look for the option to Copy & Paste (itâs the icon that looks like two pages on top of each other) and click on it.
2. With a click the text youâve highlighted will automatically be copied to your clipboard. Youâll notice a small pop-up to confirm this.
3. Now you can paste the copy anywhere your heart desires.
Please note - copy and paste isn't currently available on the Perlego app (but we're working on it đ)
How do I copy my notes?
You can copy a note you've made by clicking on the note in the eReader, highlighting the text you'd like to copy and selecting 'copy note'. Just like in the image belowđ
Why can I only copy 10% of a book?
To prevent plagiarism and abide by copyright laws, you can only copy and paste up to 10% of each book youâre reading. Once youâve reached your limit, weâll let you know.
Remember: you wonât be able to copy and paste any more text from the book once youâve reached your limit and you can't remove any previous copies, so be mindful about which pieces of text are really important to you.
At the moment, the copy and paste feature is not available on Chrome for iOS devices, but we're working on it!
