Our mission is to make educational material accessible to all and a really important part of that is having the content you need. We're adding thousands of new books every month but there are times when a book might also have to be removed from the library.
Why might a book no longer be available?
There are lots of reasons why books might become unavailable but here are the main ones:
Sales rights have changed in your country or globally (find out more here about why a book might be unavailable in your country)
The book is now out of print (the publisher stopped publishing the title)
Perlego is no longer working with the book's publisher
Will Perlego let me know if a book won't be available anymore?
Usually, publishers will give us 30 days' notice of any removals and we'll do our best to let everyone reading this book know through a notification banner. Unfortunately, in some cases, we might have to remove a book before this.
What can I do?
We know it can be frustrating when a book you're using is no longer available. We'll do our best to keep you in the loop, but if you ever find there's a book you no longer have access to and really want to be returned to the library, you can always request it here. The more interest shown in a title, the more likely its availability might be reconsidered 🚀

Access to the book I'm trying to access was provided by my campus store
If access to the book you're no longer able to read was provided by your campus store, there are a few things that may have happened:
Your Equitable Access (EA) programme may have ended, so your access to Perlego's content has been revoked
There's an issue with your campus store not requesting the right reading list
There may be an issue with sales rights in the Library
If the book you're no longer able to access was through your EA program and is on one of your course reading lists, please reach out to your campus bookstore in the first instance, and they'll be able to assist.
What happens to my highlights & notes if a book leaves the library?
If a book leaves the Perlego library, you'll still be able to access your notes in your Notebook, but you won't be able to see any of the highlights you made.
If you've been notified a book is about to leave the library, we suggest checking for any important highlights and transferring them to a notepad or document.
We'll also save your highlight data so if the book ever gets re-added, you'll be able to pick up right where you left off.
